Milan, May 15, 2025 – During the 2025 edition of Packaging Première, the international event dedicated to luxury packaging, Salvo Scarpaci, Sicilian designer and General Manager of Sikelia Parfums, took part in the panel titled “Matter and Mastery: the Dialogue Between Tradition and Innovation in Olfactory Design.”
In his speech, Scarpaci shared the philosophy behind Sikelia Parfums, a brand that stands out for its ability to merge craftsmanship, technology, and cultural storytelling. The Sikelia fragrance collections are conceived to evoke the myths and legends of Sicily — a sensory journey conveyed not only through scent but also through evocative packaging inspired by Sicilian majolica and crowned with handcrafted ceramic caps.

The talk also addressed the challenges faced by niche and independent perfume brands, particularly the rise in supplier costs and the growing need to protect the authenticity of Made in Italy.
